require special consideration due to the harshness of the medium or the
equipment on
which it is mounted. The following accessories may be
required to complete your gauge installation.
The swivel posts allow
a gauge to be mounted and easily rotated for calibration or for different
viewing angles.
Diaphragm
seals (chemical seals, gauge protectors) enable pressure
instruments to
sense process
pressure by isolating or separating the
instruments from the process
media.
Syphons
protect the pressure gauge from the damaging effects of steam.
Snubbers
protect the accuracy of pressure gauges and other precise measuring
instruments by
absorbing damaging vibrations, pulsations and surges.
